Self Life Style

So I started reading a new book yesterday. The book was titled “Your Inner CEO” and although I feel as though the title is a complete misnomer I do believe the content or should I say the practices to be fairly logical and very practical. The lesson at hand discussed how to properly evaluate your Self-Life-Style. Although the author uses an absurd amount of examples the message does evolve into something much more clear.

Simply put, to evaluate your current Self-Life-Style you need to answer the following questions.

  • Who am I (Self View)
  • What is life (World View)
  • What Motivates You (Goals)

The author also states that while this approach to self evaluation can be valuable if often doesn’t happen overnight. In fact it can take a lifetime and can also change as does our life and our environment.

So I got to thinking and I came up with a fairly good first self evaluation of my self-life-style. I actually don’t remember what it was because since last night (10pm) I have changed my self evaluation at least 4 times. When I woke up to Melody having an asthma attack I quickly found myself altering my evaluation. Again when I woke up to my alarm going off early I found myself with a noticeably different evaluation. I suppose the moral is to be honest and aware of yourself.

As I mentioned before the book seems more like a self help book as opposed to a guide to releasing your “inner CEO”.
